I have finally started using a dependency manager for my projects. I’m a big kid now, or should I say… a cool kid.

How I use Composer :
  • Manage all my project-level dependencies like WordPress core, and official WordPress plugins.
  • Pull in private and/or commercial plugins via multiple authentication methods such as auth.json, .env, Github Action Secrets.
  • Pull in a custom WordPress theme as a git submodule to track a project subdirectory as it's own repository.
